Qur’anic Supplications + Ziyarah of Ashura (PB)
75 Duaa’s & Ziyarah of Ashura in Arabic with English Translation and Transliteration by Naser Karimi
The Word “Dua” in the dictionary means: Calling and asking for help and in the terms of Islamic Shi’a religious scholars means: Asking for one’s needs and for the removing of difficulties from Allah (swt).
Dua increases hope and strengthens the will. It gives hope and becomes hopeless. Allah (swt) loves to hear the voice of mu’minin and grant them their wishes when all other doors have closed upon them.
When man asks allah (swt) for help, he feels honored while asking someone other than him, has a feeling of shame and lowliness.
That is why, the righteous people were never tired of praising and asking for Allah (swt) had not ordered them to guide mankind, they would have spent their lives in prostration.
